Revised Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Programme is launched

The Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (e-SRH) e-Learning Programme has been completely revised and relaunched in line with the latest clinical practice.

The programme is relevant to a wide range of healthcare professionals working in sexual health, general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology, including doctors, health visitors and pharmacists. It has been developed by the UK Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) and NHS England e-Learning for Healthcare.

e-SRH has been updated to reflect the latest clinical developments and also to ensure alignment with the new FSRH Diploma as well as other FSRH qualifications.

The programme covers themes such as contraception, sexually transmitted infections, cervical screening, safeguarding and psychosexual medicine.

Two modules from the original programme (17 and 18, focusing on SDI and IUT) will remain until the new content on these topics has been published. Further modules are also planned on:

  • Chaperone confidentiality
  • Fertility awareness methods and apps
  • STI testing

Learners who had access to the earlier programme will be able to access content for both the retired and new programmes. However, certificates can only be downloaded on completion of the new programme.

Take a look at our programme page for further details.

Additionally, the FSRH International Certificate of Knowledge in Sexual and Reproductive Health is also available through eIntegrity. This has been specifically designed for healthcare professionals outside the UK. This package includes access to SRH content tailored to international audiences, an online assessment (with a certificate on completion) and affiliate membership of the FSRH for one year.

Further information about this is available on the FSRH website.
