From 2 to 6 March, radiology professionals from across Europe will join together at the 2016 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.

ECR, which is organised annually by the European Society of Radiology, is one of the leading events in the field and one of the largest medical meetings across the continent.

Representatives from the UK’s Society and College of Radiographers (SoR) and The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) will be on hand to discuss training opportunities and, in particular, eIntegrity’s imaging and radiotherapy online learning.

eIntegrity’s high-quality imaging and radiotherapy programmes have been developed by these two professional organisations in partnership with NHS England. The Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine has also supported the development of e-learning on ionising radiation regulations for healthcare professionals involved in diagnostic X-ray work. These programmes are already used by thousands of staff in the UK National Health Service and they are now available to healthcare organisations globally.

ECR 2016, which includes workshops, presentations from leading radiology experts, poster sessions and networking opportunities, allows healthcare professionals to exchange views and ideas on radiological training and education, research, radiological management and professional development.

For further details about the event, go to The European Society of Radiology (ESR) website

During ECR, representatives from SoR and RCR will be available to chat about eIntegrity programmes in the societies’ area at booths 7 and 49 respectively, near the registration desks.
