E-learning for paramedics now available

A new online learning programme for paramedics is now available through eIntegrity.

Written by highly experienced paramedics, the e-learning covers a wide variety of themes, such as clinical decision making, pain management, mental health issues and end-of-life care.

The content includes videos, animations, case studies and questions to help embed learning and understanding on the key topics. It is updated on a continual basis to reflect evolving clinical practice.

Developed in partnership with the College of Paramedics, the programme is already used by thousands of healthcare staff in the UK National Health Service and it is now being made available globally.

Gary Strong, National Continuing Professional Development Lead for the College of Paramedics, said: “We’re delighted to make this high-quality e-learning available more widely. The learning content has been written by expert paramedics who understand the challenging nature of the role and present the topics in a clear, practical way.

“It’s the perfect learning resource for busy paramedics on the move. You can access the content online wherever or whenever you choose – at home, between shifts or even between clinical cases.

“The content covers an extremely broad range of topics and you can select modules that are relevant to your needs and interests. Each module only takes around 20 to 30 minutes to complete and you can dip into the content whenever you have some spare time.”
