eFM on show at world congress
Our award-winning fetal heart monitoring (eFM) programme will be showcased at the World Congress of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in Cape Town from 20 to 22 March.
Delegates will be able to find out more about the programme, how it works and the many benefits it offers as a training tool for both midwives and obstetricians.
International (non-UK) members of the RCOG and new Associates who sign up at the congress will also benefit from a special discount on the programme.
Nigel Moore, Director of Marketing at the RCOG, said: “eFM is a high-quality learning programme, which was developed for the UK National Health Service and is widely used by both trainees and fully qualified practitioners in the UK.
“The programme is highly interactive, with clinical case studies featuring heart traces from real labours. So, you can use eFM to test your interpretation skills in a virtual ward setting. This provides experience that you simply can’t get anywhere else apart from the labour ward.”
He added: “The congress allows us to promote this fantastic resource to an international audience. Practitioners across the world now have a chance to take advantage of the UK’s investment in top-class e-learning for healthcare.”
In addition to the case studies, eFM includes knowledge sessions, self-assessment questions and a comprehensive e-library. It is regularly updated to reflect the latest clinical guidance.
The RCOG World Congress, which attracts more than 2000 delegates from across the world, gives healthcare professionals the chance to find out about cutting-edge clinical and educational developments in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. This year’s event includes a packed programme of leading international speakers alongside opportunities to learn about the latest training innovations.
