eIntegrity funds new sessions for End-of-Life Care for All elearning programme

Funding from eIntegrity has enabled the Association for Palliative Medicine to create two new sessions for our popular End-of-Life Care for All (e-ELCA) elearning programme.

The sessions give learners access to two new workbooks, both focus on Opioid Conversion – providing guidance on how to convert between commonly used strong opioid analgesics in palliative care. The workbooks are:

  • Opioid conversion workbook traditional ratios
  • Opioid conversion workbook progressive ratios

Created in partnership by the APM, Dr Robert Brodrick, a consultant in Palliative Medicine at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and NHS England’s Technology Enhanced Learning team, ensuring the sessions meets the highest professional standards.

Giving back to enhance programmes

The development of these two new sessions was only possible thanks to funding from eIntegrity. As a Community Interest Company, we share our income with the UK’s Medical Royal Colleges and any excess profit are then reinvested into further enhancing our elearning courses – via our Development Fund.

It was after successfully bidding last year, for a share of the Development Fund, that the APM were able further extend the e-ELCA’s library of resources.

Comprehensive online nursing courses for practitioners globally

The e-ELCA programme is an elearning resource library, offering over 180 highly interactive sessions, to enhance the training and education of the health and social care workforce. Enabling well-informed high-quality care can be delivered by confident and competent staff and volunteers, to support people wherever they happen to be.

e-ELCA is available to learners around the world, exclusively from eIntegrity.
