New partner to provide e-learning for health professionals around the world

BMJ, one of the world’s leading healthcare knowledge providers, has teamed up with eIntegrity to provide e-learning programmes for health professionals around the world.

The 3-year partnership means that over 7,500 e-learning sessions linked to UK Royal College training curricula are now available beyond the UK in key clinical areas such as radiology, anaesthesiasexual and reproductive health and acute medicine. The learning content includes videos, case studies and questions, which help to reinforce learning on key themes. Users can select modules relevant to their areas of interest and revisit the content as many times as needed.

The programmes have been developed by e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH), a NHS England programme, in collaboration with the UK’s medical Royal Colleges and other expert organisations and are licensed to organisations outside the UK’s National Health Service by Community Interest Company eIntegrity.

Dr Julia Moore OBE, consultant anaesthetist and director of e-Learning for Healthcare, said,” e-LfH content is embedded across healthcare training in the UK, raising standards and improving the quality of care. We are delighted that eIntegrity’s collaboration with BMJ will make these award-winning learning materials available world-wide.”

Edward Briffa, BMJ director of clinical improvement, said: “We at BMJ are thrilled at this partnership with eIntegrity, covering the best of e-LfH content. It reflects our commitment to providing healthcare professionals around the world with the very best learning resources they need to deliver high quality patient care.”
