CPD endorsement for Image Interpretation and Advanced Radiotherapy programmesPublished: Tuesday, 18 October 2016
Our Image Interpretation and Advanced Radiotherapy (Radiotherap-e) e-learning programmes have been officially recognised by the UK College of Radiographers for continuing professional development (CPD). Both programmes are now part of the college’s formal CPD scheme – CPD Now.
The college is a subsidiary of the Society of Radiographers – the only body in the UK representing the whole of the radiographic workforce. Founded in 1920, the society is one of the oldest radiography organisations in the world.
Patrick Mitchell, eIntegrity Chair, said: “We are delighted that our programmes have received official endorsement in this way. These programmes are used by many thousands of healthcare professionals across the UK and abroad and this award reflects the high quality of the training.
“Developed in the UK, these comprehensive resources offer invaluable tools for continuing professional development – helping practitioners to expand, refresh and update their skills. Since the programmes are available online, learners can study at their own pace, in their own time – at home, in work or on the move.”
Image Interpretation explores all aspects of radiological imaging. Aimed at radiographers, ultrasonographers and allied healthcare professionals, the programme equips practitioners with the skills to interpret images correctly. Radiotherap-e, which covers the latest radiotherapy techniques, allows learners to practise their skills using customised simulation tools.
